1. Overview
At ForeFront Label Solutions, we supply both stocked and made-to-order products, including label materials, custom converted rolls, label printers, ribbons, ink, and related supplies. Because many products are produced or prepared specifically for the customer, return eligibility depends on the product category and the condition of the item.
Please review this page carefully before placing your order. By purchasing from us, you agree to this Return & Refund Policy together with our Terms & Conditions and Shipping Policy.
2. Return Eligibility
Approved returns may be accepted on certain standard, non-custom products when the item is unused, in original condition, and returned within the approved return window.
- Returns must be requested and approved by ForeFront before anything is sent back.
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging unless the return is due to shipping damage, defect, or an error on our end.
- Proof of purchase is required for all return or refund requests.
- We reserve the right to inspect returned items before approving a refund, exchange, or credit.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally non-returnable unless they arrive damaged, defective, or we shipped the wrong product:
- Custom labels and made-to-order label rolls
- Converted products made to customer specifications
- Special-order or non-stock items
- Opened or used ink cartridges, ribbons, and label rolls
- Software, licenses, downloadable products, or activated digital items
- Clearance, final sale, or liquidation items
Because custom-manufactured products are produced specifically for a customer order, they cannot usually be restocked or resold. For that reason, custom orders are considered final once production has started.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the issue and help resolve it.
- Please report shipping damage, product defects, shortages, or incorrect items within 5 business days of delivery.
- Email us with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the packaging and product.
- Do not discard the packaging or use the product until the issue has been reviewed, as we may need additional information for a carrier or supplier claim.
- Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, store credit, repair coordination, partial credit, or refund.
5. Return Window
For eligible standard, non-custom items, return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
- Requests submitted after the return window may be declined.
- Approval must be received from ForeFront before the item is shipped back.
- Return approval does not guarantee a refund until the item is received and inspected.
6. Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return, an item must generally meet all of the following conditions:
- Unused and in resalable condition
- Returned with original packaging, accessories, manuals, and components
- Free from physical damage caused after delivery
- Not altered, written on, or modified
Items returned incomplete, used, damaged by misuse, or not in their original condition may be refused or may qualify only for a partial credit if accepted.
7. How to Start a Return
To request a return, please email sales@forefrontlabel.com with the following:
- Your order number
- Your company name and contact details
- The item(s) you want to return
- The reason for the return
- Photos, if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect
If your request is approved, we will provide return instructions. Returns sent without approval may be refused.
8. Return Shipping
- For approved returns due to customer preference, ordering error, or no longer needing the item, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a shipping error, damaged item, or a confirmed mistake on our end.
- If the return is due to a defective product, incorrect shipment, or confirmed issue caused by us, we may cover return shipping or provide an alternate resolution.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method for approved returns. We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit back to us.
9. Refund Processing
Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
- If approved, refunds are typically processed back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
- Processing times can vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
- If a product is returned in a condition different from what was reported, the refund may be reduced or declined.
Where appropriate, ForeFront may issue store credit or offer a replacement instead of a refund.
10. Exchanges
Exchanges may be offered in limited cases, primarily when an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Custom products are generally not eligible for exchange unless there is a verified production or fulfillment issue.
If you need a replacement item quickly, contact us and we will advise you on the best option based on inventory availability and the nature of the issue.
11. Order Changes & Cancellations
Order cancellations or changes may be possible only before processing, conversion, production, or shipment begins.
- Custom and made-to-order jobs may not be cancelled once materials have been allocated, production has started, or supplier commitments have been made.
- If a cancellation is requested after work has begun, any unrecoverable production, setup, or special-order costs may still apply.
