Blank label rolls for the Primera LX900, 3 inch core, up to 8 inch wide

Primera LX900 · 3" core · 6" max roll · up to 8.375" media

Primera LX900 Labels

The Primera LX900 is the 8-inch colour label printer that came before the LX910, and plenty of them are still printing every day. It takes rolls on a 3" core up to a 6" outside diameter and media up to 8.375" wide, printing up to 8.25" across, with labels from 0.75" to 17" long per Primera's LX900 manual. Every roll below is wound to that size in matte paper, gloss paper, matte BOPP and gloss BOPP.

Roll fit

Why 3" core and 6" OD

The LX900 holds its roll inside the printer, so a 6" outside diameter is the limit. A bigger roll needs an external unwinder. The LX900 and LX910 share the same 3" core, 6" OD and 8.375" media limits, so any roll on our LX910 page runs on an LX900 too. The 2" core rolls for the LX500 are a different size.

Ink and finish

Match the stock to the ink

  • Individual CMYK cartridges: the LX900 uses separate cyan, magenta, yellow and black tanks, so you only replace the colour that runs out.
  • Matte paper: the go-to for ingredient panels, barcodes and dry goods.
  • Gloss paper: richer colour and shine for retail shelves and gift packaging.
  • BOPP (matte or gloss): choose it for fridges, oils, condensation and anything that gets handled. Dye ink is less water resistant than pigment, so run a test roll before a wet or chilled job.

LX900 supplies

We do not stock LX900 ink cartridges. Primera sells dye and pigment versions, so check which one is in your printer before you reorder. If you are replacing the printer, the LX910 uses the same rolls, and our colour label printers include current options with ink we do stock.

LX900 label questions

Do LX910 rolls fit the LX900?

Yes. Both printers take a 3" core, a 6" maximum roll and media up to 8.375" wide, so every roll on our LX910 page fits the LX900.

What is the widest label it prints?

Media up to 8.375" wide, with up to 8.25" of print width. We stock continuous rolls up to 8" wide for it.

Die-cut or continuous?

Die-cut gives you clean, consistent shapes and gaps for production runs. Continuous lets you print any length, which suits shops labelling many different products.

Can you make a size that is not listed?

Yes. We convert rolls in-house in Mississauga, so custom widths, lengths, circles and materials on a 3" core are available. Send us your size.
