VIPColor VP700 Labels

The VIPColor VP700 is a Memjet production label printer that prints up to 8.5" wide at high speed, with a built-in unwinder that takes rolls on a 3" core up to 8" across. It feeds media from 2" to 8.5" wide. Every roll below matches those limits, in matte paper, gloss paper, matte BOPP and gloss BOPP.

Roll fit

Bigger rolls, fewer changeovers

Because the VP700's integrated unwinder takes an 8" roll, it can run our 3" x 3.5" matte BOPP roll with 1,500 labels as well as every standard 6" roll. Labels must be at least 2" wide across the roll, so single 1" and 1.5" wide labels do not feed on the VP700. The VP750 takes the same rolls.

Ink and finish

Memjet dye ink and your stock

  • Five 250 mL Memjet tanks (CYMKK) keep the VP700 printing long runs between refills.
  • Matte paper: the go-to for ingredient panels, barcodes and dry goods.
  • Gloss paper: richer colour and shine for retail shelves and gift packaging.
  • BOPP (matte or gloss): choose it for fridges, oils, condensation and anything that gets handled. Dye ink is less water resistant than pigment, so run a test roll before a wet or chilled job.

Every size comes in matte paper, gloss paper, matte BOPP and gloss BOPP unless noted. Continuous rolls are 200 ft (180 ft for matte BOPP) and the printer cuts them to the length in your file. Sizes listed here are the ones that match the printer's published media specs.

Do VP750 rolls fit the VP700?

Yes. Both printers share the 3" core, 8" OD unwinder and 2" to 8.5" media range.

Die-cut or continuous?

Die-cut gives you clean, consistent shapes and gaps for production runs. Continuous lets you print any length, which suits shops labelling many different products.

Can you make a size that is not listed?

Yes. We convert rolls in-house in Mississauga, so custom widths, lengths, circles and materials on a 3" core are available. Send us your size.
