Epson CW-C8000 Labels

The Epson CW-C8000 is the fastest 4-inch ColorWorks, built for high-volume production with large 480 mL ink packs. It holds rolls on a 3" core up to 8" across and feeds media from 1" to 4.4" wide, with labels up to 40" long.

Roll fit

Production rolls

An 8" roll on a 3" core keeps the CW-C8000 running for long shifts. It takes the same 3" core rolls as the CW-C6000 and TM-C7500. Its printable width is 4.25", so for wider labels look at the 8-inch CW-C6500.

Ink and finish

Big ink packs, matched stock

  • UltraChrome DL pigment ink in 480 mL packs (SJIC47P) lowers ink cost per label on long runs.
  • Matte paper: the go-to for ingredient panels, barcodes and dry goods.
  • Gloss paper: richer colour and shine for retail shelves and gift packaging.
  • BOPP (matte or gloss): choose it for fridges, oils, condensation and anything that gets handled. Pigment ink holds up well to moisture; still run a test roll before a frozen or very wet job.

Every size comes in matte paper, gloss paper, matte BOPP and gloss BOPP unless noted. Continuous rolls are 200 ft (180 ft for matte BOPP) and the printer cuts them to the length in your file. Sizes listed here are the ones that match the printer's published media specs.

How long a label can it print?

Up to 40" long by Epson's spec, useful for long wraps and drum labels.

Die-cut or continuous?

Die-cut gives you clean, consistent shapes and gaps for production runs. Continuous lets you print any length, which suits shops labelling many different products.

Can you make a size that is not listed?

Yes. We convert rolls in-house in Mississauga, so custom widths, lengths, circles and materials on a 3" core are available. Send us your size.
